Secondly: The NHL’s Original* Six teams are the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, and Toronto Maple Leafs. I say original* because they weren’t the first six teams to play in the league, but they are the oldest franchises currently playing in the league.
