Sean is a seasoned comedian and MC in Philadelphia. He has completed the Improv, Sketch Writing, and Stand-Up curricula at the Philly Improv Theater, and is currently studying at the UCB Training Center in New York City. He is a graduate of the school formerly known as Philadelphia University, where he won Homecoming King, founded the online radio station WPHU, served on the Campus Activities Board, and was even the school mascot (Phil the Ram) for a hot second.
Sean also started an indie improv team called Xylobone that performs in and around Philadelphia. Xylobone, coached by Nick Gillette, has opened for some of Philadelphia's funniest teams including Hoffman, Neighborhood Watch, The Teens, and The Sardines, and regularly hosts other teams on their bi-monthly show called Playtime in East Falls. Sean has also won Maestro!, an international short-form competition. He has studied under Joe Moore, Lydia Hensler, Molly Scullion, Kristen Schier, and Matt Dennie.
When he is not embarrassing himself onstage or in front of a microphone, Sean can be found debating which flannel shirt to wear for the day or agonizing over why the Phillies stink so much. In his spare time, he also embarrasses himself playing floor hockey, follows Low Cut Connie, Shark Tape, and Illinois around the city of Philadelphia, and watches The Office and The Simpsons on repeat.
Now that that's out of the way... Here's my first-person spiel: I host Quizzo, game nights, and comedy shows in and around Philadelphia, and I also do stand-up and improv (but you knew that already). You can see a calendar of all my stuff up above, including Quizzo and shows. If you are interested in having me host your corporate event or birthday party or séance or whatever, feel free to drop me a line.
