Since freshmen are generally too young to be drinking legally, you may need some help knowing that school benefactor Maurice Kanbar has the patent for SKYY Vodka. Fun Fact: the blue letters that spell out KANBAR CAMPUS CENTER are in the exact same hue as the blue on SKYY bottles.

The people who founded the goldmining community of Chicken, AK wanted to name their little town after the state bird, which is the Ptarmigan. But since that's a weird word and spelling is tough, they couldn't agree on a spelling, so they settled for the name "Chicken, Alaska".
