I try not to brag about myself, but then I remember this website is literally about me…
Every year, I set a revenue goal for myself with the business. I don’t always hit it, but I usually get pretty close (except last year, when I fell something like $5,000 short. Whoops). So I’m very excited and pretty darn proud to say that I’ve already passed my goal for this year, with a whole quarter still to go—it’s all house money from here.
Betting on myself was one of the single dumbest things I’ve maybe ever done in my life. But it looks like it was the right bet. I built something to be proud of, no matter how silly it is. I, of course, did not build it alone. I have a team of people with me who are great, I have awesome customers, I have loyal fans (is that the right word?), and most importantly, I have the love and support of my wife Casey, who has been in my corner since day 1 (even when she maybe shouldn't have).
I don’t really know what comes next. I don’t know that I’d make the same bet twice. But I’m sure glad I was dumb enough to do it once
